Juan Williams Fired

On Tuesday of the week of October 2010 the Council of American-Islamic Relations issued a statement regarding Juan Williams. They would like NPR to address their feelings that NPR news jockeys seem to support the view that ALL airline passengers who look "Muslim," can be deemed security threats.

Well it appears today, NPR did address that issue by promptly firing Juan Williams. I for one am very tired of the political correctness that must be followed in public. I much prefer Maddow's real talk.

People are scared to fly on airplanes. It is not a crippling anxiety, but I suspect it will always be there. Just because the Council of American Islamic Relations will it doesn't make it so. People are people, so stop trying to tell us how to think.
